Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long does the band play for? Can you provide a Cocktail Hour?

The band usually plays for 4 hours and for a cocktail hour, our piano player usually provides some nice Jazz and background music. If your wedding is from 12-5 our piano player will perform from 12-1 and then the band will play from 1-5.

2. Does the Band play a variety of music? Our guests will be a variety of ages.

Fullsound plays a wide range of musical material—everything from Jazz and Swing, to Motown, Rock and Top 40. This is your day, so please feel free to review our song list, and highlight the songs that you particularly enjoy.

3.Can you learn our special song?

Fullsound is happy to learn your special song. Please provide us with a CD copy and 6 weeks notice, and we will perform your song.

4. How long are the breaks? Do you provide music during that time? Can we provide our own CD's to be played?

The band usually plays anywhere from about 45 minutes to 1 hour, and then takes a 15-20 minute break, during which we provide pre-recorded music. If you have certain CDs that you would like us to play during the breaks, we are very happy to play them for you. Just bring them with you the day of your reception.

5. How many vocalists are there? How many male singers & how many female?

We actually have 3 vocalists. Our sax player sings and he does a number of wonderful Sinatra songs etc. Our drummer sings also. He does more of the male classic rock songs. Deborah sings everything from Jazz to Motown to Top 40. This way the band covers all of the bases with a wide range of material.

If you choose the 3 Piece band, there will be 1 male and 1 female lead vocalist. Our piano player also sings backgrounds.

If you choose the 4 or 5 piece groups, there will be 2 male and 1 female lead vocalist. Our piano player sings backgrounds.

6. Will the band play at comfortable volume?

Yes, it is important to maintain a volume that is comfortable and pleasant to everyone at your wedding reception. Your guests should always be able to converse comfortably. If at any time you would like us to adjust the sound, please just let us know.

7. Can I decide what type of music the band will play during my reception?

Please go through our song list and highlight the selections you would like the band to play and cross out any music that you do not wish to hear. The band will also "read the crowd" the day of your wedding and choose the music that we are confident will pack the dance floor.

I hope this answers your questions. If you have any others please feel free to contact us, and we will get right back to you.

Best Regards,

Deborah and the Fullsound Productions team.
